Mermaid’s Tears from OPI is a pretty dusty pastel seafoam green From The Pirates of the Caribbean Collection. Looks a lot brighter on the nail than it did in the bottle (I found that to be the case with a few of the polishes in this collection). I used just two coats for the mani in the pictures. I found the formula a bit hard to work with as it is really runny, but the coverage was decent enough.

Misty Jade from the Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish Collection is a pastel greeny blue shade of nail polish, I would describe this color as seafoam green. Took three coats for full opacity as it is quite a thin formula and streaky. It has a nice glossy finish.

Lemon Drop is a pretty creme based sunny and cheerful pastel yellow nail laquer from Rimmel’s I Love Fruities nail polish collection. Quite a thick formula, I used three coats for full opacity in order to remove any bald spots and my nails did look very thick and chunky. Definitely leaves a noticeable lemony scent on your fingernails too.

Baby Blue from Nubar’s Pastel Fever Collection is a pretty, soft, eggshell blue nail polish with a creme base. A bit streaky after one application but looks good at two coats and great at three. Dries quite quickly too.

If you are looking for a true Barbie Pink nail polish color then Pink Creme from Nubar’s Pastel Fever Collection is for you! A real Pepto Bismol pink. When I saw this color in the bottle I thought it would be a bit more demure than how it actually turned out. It is a very noticeable nail color, I felt very bubbly and girly wearing it.
This polish dried superbly fast! There was a bit for streakiness but not too bad. I only used two coats for these images. Has a very nice glossy finish.

Jealous, Much? from Orly’s 2012 Cool Romance Color Collection is a cool pastel mint green with blue undertones. The formula was quite watery but it dried very quickly. I only used two coats but I probably should have used three for greater opacity. This varnish has a great glossy effect.

Last week my order of Orlys‘ Cool Romance Collection arrived in the post and I immediately tried on the color I was most drawn to in this collection: You’re Blushing.
I really love this cool lavender color, it makes me think of purple tinted concrete with it’s grey undertones. The formulas is excellent, full opacity after two coats and I have been wearing this for four days now and it just doesn’t chip!

Navigate Her is Essie’s creme based pastel green nail polish from their 2012 Spring Collection entitled Navigate Her (just like this polish). This is an interesting nail color that is truly unique. This green is so retro, reminds me of that pastel enamel green from the 60′s and 70′s. I love this color, I wore this polish for almost a week and there were a few chips here and there but overall this has really good staying power.
The formula is really great, I only used two coats and it dried really quickly. Following are Essie’s Navigate Her green nail polish swatches taken in shade, in sunlight, indoors and with a flash.
I also wanted to see how Navigate Her looked with OPI’s Pirouette My Whistle (which I just bought and have been trying on almost everything!). I quite like the results!

Essie – To Buy Or Not To Buy is a soft pastel purple with a blue and purple shimmer in it from Essie’s spring 2012 collection Navigate Her.
The color is so cute and I was really excited to see a pastel with a shimmer like this. I applied the first coat and thought uh oh… this is so sheer and streaky, two coats… still got bald spots happening, three coats, now we hit full opacity but unfortuately the layering of the coats is still visible. I feel like this formula is a bit thick and does not go on very smoothly. On the plus side it does dry very quickly
The color is really lovely and that ever so slight shimmer gives the pastel purple a fresh feel.

Essie – A Crewed Interest is an interesting pastel peach shade from Essie’s spring 2012 collection Navigate Her. The finish is very glossy with a nice lustre to it, the shade really changes in different lighting from a paler pastel to a more orange peach color. I found the formula to be very thick and although opacity was good at two coats (due to thickness of polish) I had to apply three coats to get rid of bald spots and visible streaking.
The color on it’s own is very nice, like fake skin tone color, the type used in dolls skin. Against my skin I am not 100% convinced it suits me, but it photographs nicely.
