Apricot Punch is a nice creme based orange nail laquer from Rimmel’s I Love Fruities nail polish collection. I really love this color, so bright, and summery. I applied three coats, they dried fairly fast , love the super glossy finish! The apricot scent was a bit too artificial and strong for my taste, would prefer this polish without the smell.

Orange, It’s Obvious! is from Essie’s 2012 Spring Collection Navigate Her. Wow, this is a bright obvious orange just like the name suggests. A creme based rich orange color that leans more towards red than yellow. A great formula that applied nicely and dried quickly.
I think this is a great 1 coat polish, here is a swatch of Orange It’s Obvious at just one coat:
Out of habit I did apply two coats and this only makes the color even deeper and richer! I really like this polish, perfect for the hot summer months. The color really varies in different lighting from pure orange to an almost blood red in pure sunlight.

Essie – A Crewed Interest is an interesting pastel peach shade from Essie’s spring 2012 collection Navigate Her. The finish is very glossy with a nice lustre to it, the shade really changes in different lighting from a paler pastel to a more orange peach color. I found the formula to be very thick and although opacity was good at two coats (due to thickness of polish) I had to apply three coats to get rid of bald spots and visible streaking.
The color on it’s own is very nice, like fake skin tone color, the type used in dolls skin. Against my skin I am not 100% convinced it suits me, but it photographs nicely.

Mavala – Jazz Club is a nice old fashioned pearl orange with tiny golden yellow micro-glitter that gives the nail polish lots of shimmer, especially nice in the sunlight.
You can get away with two coats, but I used three for this manicure. The formula is great and it’s easy to get a neat manicure. It dries fairly quickly.

Splendid is a superb tangerine cream based colour that is perfect for summer. I saw Splendid from Mecca Cosmetica on my friends nails and knew I had to try it as it looked so gorgeous on her. So I asked to go through her awesome stash (where I saw many things I liked, lol) and found this and borrowed it to try out for myself.
When I first tried this on, I was surprised at how glugy, thick and streaky the formula is. I didn’t expect it from these polishes as the standard price is about $22 (Aussie dollars) and they are marketed as quite high end.
Good opacity at two coats. Things even out a bit more but the overall result was quite bumpy. You can see this in some photos but not in others. The color is indeed splendid!
Splendid is the only polish from Mecca I have ever tried. The color is a winner but the formula a fail and really at their prices their formula really needs some fine tuning, not up to scratch. But who knows the experience may change with another color. I am willing to try out another of their polishes if it ever comes my way.

Peachy Pastel is a nail polish color by Natio for their Lights and Brights Collection. This is a nice orangey/pink, peach, pale salmon color. Goes on very streaky and needs a good three coats to avoid bald spots. The polish probably could do with a top coat, I already had a few chips in it by the next day. Overall a nice color. I think it looks better in the images than it did in real life. I don’t think this is the color for my skin tone, but would probably look amazing on very pale skin.

At two coats in natural light you can still see the streaks, but I find this usually happens with this type of color.

OPI Touring America Fall 2011 Collection. Quite a summery feel for a fall polish. Coral orange with a nice shimmer through it.

China Glaze Papaya Punch Nail Polish is a cream based vivid orange. It is a great shade of orange for all those orange nail polish lovers out there. Only need two coats for a great opaque finish.

On The Same Paige is a muted, glossy and warm orange. It is bright orange but not neon. Looks beautiful on all skin tones and is a fun and quirky summer shade!

OPI In My Back Pocket is the perfect orange colored nail polish. A bright, yellow-based, orange cream polish, the perfect Halloween orange! This color has a nice retro vibe to it. This is a wonderful color for summer, goes very well with tanned skin! Two coats is great for a nice opaque finish.
