Sally Hansen Hi-Definition Nail Color – Pixel Pretty is an aqua color with a green shimmer. I bought this a long time ago because I loved how the color looked in the bottle, but on my finger nails I am not convinced. It is very sheer so I need at least three coats. It photographs nicely but is just not my thing, I rarely use this.
Images in various lighting, but mainly sunlight as that is where this polish looks its best.

Sally Hansen GEM crush Glitz Gal is a gunmetal grey microglitter in a clear base combined with larger silver holographic glitter. Overall I really like this polish, it is dark and subtle but the holographic silver glitter lends it enough bling to add excitment.
Super sheer at one coat.
Two coats and this might just be me but I am feeling that opacity is not even from nail to nail. I think rigorous bottle shaking is necessary, lol.
Everything evens out at three coats, very nice polish. I feel so glamorous with this.
Three coats of Glitz Gal with a top coat and I’m set. Various images in different lighting. This polish has fabulous dimension to it with the depth of color changing depending on the light. Very beautiful!

Part of Sally Hansen’s Gem Crush Range is Be-Jeweled. This color really excited me when I saw it at the shops as I am a purple nail polish lover and thought that this amethyst purple was really quite a nice shade. It is made up of purple microglitter with larger light pink glitter particles in a clear base.
Here is Be-Jeweled at one coat and the formula does not go on evenly from nail to nail, it depends on how much glitter is on the brush.
At three coats it has decent opacity. The color is a lot cooler than I expected.

Overall I quite like this purple glittery nail polish, although I would have preferred the purple to be a bit warmer.

Sally Hansen’s Showgirl Chic from the Gem Crush collection is made up of fine silver micro-glitter with larger blue glitters in the mix. The effects are quite striking. This glittery nail polish dries pretty fast too.
At one coat it goes on quite opaque, that silver micro-glitter really covers the nail.
I am happy with the coverage of Showgirl Chic at two coats. I feel tempted to leave it here,I really like how this looks.
Lets try three coats and now I really am starting to feel like a Showgirl! I am glad I did it, the effect is really stunning.
And three coats with a top coat to smooth things out.

Sally Hansen’s Razzle Dazzler from the Gem Crush collection is a pink micro glitter nail polish mixed with pieces of larger silver glitter. I probably would have preferred this polish to have had a smaller ratio of sliver glitter to pink, would have been nicer with more pink in it overall. The pink is a nice warm, almost peachy pink, quite soft and feminine.

Nail polish number 3 in Sally Hansen’s GEM Crush collection is Big Money. This one is really lovely and unique, made up of fine gold micro glitter and bigger glitter particles in a lavender color. A decent polish, not too out there, quite a safe one for a glitter. Looks fab at three coats with a top coat.

From Sally Hansen’s Gem Crush collection we have Bling-tastic. This one goes on a lot sheerer than the rest of the polishes in this collection. It is made up of medium sized aqua glitter with large silver glitters in the mix. I must say, I quite like how it looked with just two coats and having the nail show through underneath. But for a real Bling-tastic effect I packed it on all the way to four coats and here is where this polish started to look like the others in the collection do at three coats. Surprisingly, I liked this one more that I thought I would.

Sally Hansen’s Cha-Ching! (part of the GEM crush collection) is quite a nice and festive glittery nail polish made up of red microglitter and bigger silver holographic glitter. This is a perfect color for Christmas and even Valentine’s day.
Due to my experience in removing Sally Hansen’s Lady Luck (it took forevs) I began this experience with a base coat. I had to use three coats and tons of top coat to create a look I was satisfied with.

Instant glam with finger-to-toe bling. This innovative full coverage glitter formula turns nails into jewelry that stays on wherever you go.
I had to use three coats to create a color that had enough opacity and was true to the bottle. Luckily this polish dries quickly. This polish is made of tiny dark pink, magenta, almost burgundy micro-glitter and larger silver hexagonal holographic glitter.
Firstly, lets have a look at this polish after one coat in natural day light. With one coat you can see it is very sparse and really does not pack a punch, but that is ok at just one coat.

Two coats of Lady luck and looks quite nice but still too sheer for me, I want mega bling!! Here is a shot in natural light.

So lets try three coats for good measure, and finally the results are starting to make more of a statement.

The following two shots have a clear top coat on the nails after three coats of this pink glitter nail polish. The top coat is necessary in my opinion to make the glitter stand out and to make the nail a bit smoother and softer to the touch, glitter nail polish can feel like sandpaper.
